NYC Architectural Photographer Shoots Fine Art Series of The Oculus by Santiago Calatrava

NYC ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHER SHOOTS FINE ART SERIES OF THE OCULUS

About This Series:

In early March, 2021, I was commissioned for a shoot at the Accuweather facility at 7 World Trade Center. They were on the 35th floor overlooking the WTC Memorial and The Oculus, designed by Santiago Calatrava.

I’ve passed by The Oculus dozens of times but have never been there up close. Being on the 35th floor, right on top of the structure, I had a unique perspective that most people don’t usually get to enjoy. Looking right down over the top!

When my shoot was completed, I grabbed my camera and got a ton of shots for myself. When I finished, I walked over to the building, as ive never been there before and figured I should take some more shots to finish off this series I was slowly thinking of making.

Below is a gallery of the final choices and shots. I’ve spent two months editing these and I am really happy with the way they came out. I am really excited to finally be able to share these.

Drop me a message, let me know what you think.
