Retail Store Design Photography: Inside the Remodeled Govberg Jewelers in Philadelphia, PA

This past summer, I had the opportunity to photograph the newly remodeled Govberg Jewelers in Philadelphia, under their parent company, The 1916 Company. Known for their high-end jewelry and watches, Govberg has stores worldwide, but this project was especially exciting as it reflected their luxury ethos with a refreshed, modern aesthetic.

Walking into the space, I was struck by the blend of elegance and contemporary design. The combination of warm wood tones, chic green accents, and sleek metal finishes created a refined atmosphere. The ceiling’s wooden details paired with the large geometric windows added both warmth and grandeur, making the space feel expansive yet intimate. I particularly loved how the light fixtures created soft pools of light over the displays, highlighting the intricate timepieces without overpowering the room.

Capturing this space required a careful balance of wide shots to show the layout, and close-ups to focus on the stunning detailing. My goal was to emphasize the harmony between luxury and modern design, which defines the Govberg experience.
